Howdy Okie Fliers!

REMINDER!  Indoor FF at the Exchange Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday, January 21, 9:00am to 4:00pm!  We'll have a MASS LAUNCH too!

  Stan Denton and I have visited on the phone; we're still on for the 21st, at the Exchange Avenue Church!  (i.e. no funerals or other events have popped up that would use the activities gymnasium where we fly).

  We discussed the idea of a MASS LAUNCH in the afternoon, probably at 2:00pm.  Stan suggested it be for any free flight model you have that's flying!  OK!  We'll try to have observers/timers too, so we'll have some record of last down, next to last, third, fourth, etc. 

Travel: 

  The east bound lanes of the OKC Crosstown section of I-40 are now open!  There's a great exit for Pennsylvania Avenue when coming from the west (or from I-44).  However, when coming from the east on the west bound lanes, you are still on the old I-40, and it's still a construction zone.  Coming from the east, there is no exit for Pennsylvania.  You can take the Virginia Avenue exit or go on to the Agnew.  Virginia is very close to Penn at that point, so a little jog under the old freeway to the south (left turn) will allow you to then turn west and Penn will be the first stoplight.The Exchange Avenue Church is at the first traffic light south on Pennsylvania after you clear the I-40 construction zone, less than a mile south.
